Tuesday-- Today you will take a quiz on chapters 3-4.  You will not be allowed to use your book!  The format is 10 multiple choice questions.  HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!  SHOW SOME LOVE TO SOMEONE TODAY!
Wednesday-- Continue reading the book, and go as far as you can.  Let me know where you are, so I can prepare a quiz for you!  
Thursday-- Continue reading the book, and go as far as you can.  Let me know where you are, so I can prepare a quiz for you!  .
Friday--  HOPEFULLY, YOU HAVE COMPLETED THE NOVEL.  IF NOT, PLEASE FINISH IT.

Monday-- Read and/or listen to chapter one.  ACTIVE READING STRATEGY: FILL IN THE CHART AS YOU GO
Tuesday-- Discuss Monday's work.  Complete the vocabulary for this chapter.
Wednesday-- Discuss Tuesday's work.  Introduce figurative language.  Discuss how it enhances a literary work.  Complete the assignment  for this lesson.
Thursday-- Read and/or listen to chapter two.  Use an active reading strategy by filling in the chart as you go.
Friday--  REVIEW GAME AND/OR DISCUSSION OF THIS WEEK'S READINGS
